The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the new player rankings.
According to the latest
ICC rankings, New Zealand's captain Kane Williamson is at the top of the Test
format with 859 points, while Babar Azam is in third place with 768 points.
England's Joe Root is in
second place with 840 points, Daryl Mitchell is fourth with 768 points, and
Steve Smith is fifth with 757 rating points. In the bowler rankings, England's
Harry Brook has moved up three places to seventh, and England's Zak Crawley has
moved up three places to thirteenth. In the Test bowlers' rankings, India's
Ravichandran Ashwin retains the top position.
England's James Anderson
ended his Test career ranked eighth, while Shaheen Afridi is ranked ninth in
the Test bowling rankings.
In the ODI rankings,
captain Babar Azam remains at the top with 824 points, while Shubman Gill holds
the second position with 801 points.
Similarly, in T20
rankings, captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are in the third and fourth
positions with 755 and 746 points, respectively.
