For the first time, women cricket trials will be held in the beautiful valley of Swat. The cricket board is organizing open trials for women from August 5th across the country to highlight talent at the grassroots level. This initiative is an important effort by the PCB to promote women cricket and provide opportunities to young female cricketers.

The PCB is conducting women cricket trials in Swat for the first time, aiming to discover talented female cricketers from remote areas. The trials will be held in 14 cities in two phases. The first phase will be from August 5th to 7th in Gilgit, Hunza, and Swat while the second phase will start on August 21st and conclude on September 3rd.

In case of rain on any trial date, the trials in the respective city will be held between September 4th and 5th. Former cricketers and members of the women national selection committee, Asad Shafiq and Batool Fatima, will conduct the trials nationwide. There are two categories: Under-19 and Emerging. Players born on or after September 1, 2005, will be eligible for the Under-19 trials.
