Indian outcry has caused concern for the ICC. As a plan B for the Champions Trophy, consideration is being given to a hybrid model. Discussions will be held in a scheduled meeting in Colombo this month. The budget for hosting matches in a country other than Pakistan is part of the agenda, with UAE being mentioned. Chartered flights will be used for team travel. On the other hand, the PCB is not in favor of any hybrid model and wants to host the entire event in its own country. It is expected to take a firm stance on this matter in the meeting.

According to details, the Champions Trophy is set to be held in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9 next year. The event featured teams from Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, and South Africa, along with the defending champions and hosts, Pakistan. As always, India has started showing reluctance to cross the border. BCCI officials are not making any statements themselves but have repeatedly presented their stance through their media.
