Fast bowler Hasan Ali has expressed his concerns regarding the Indian team's participation in the Champions Trophy 2025. In an interview with a local news channel, Hasan Ali supported the stance of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), stating that the tournament should take place regardless of India's participation. He mentioned that if Pakistan can play in India despite security concerns, then India should be able to come to Pakistan. He noted that if we remove the governments and the BCCI, the Indian players are willing to play in Pakistan; however, decisions and policies need to be considered.
Hasan Ali stated that the PCB chairman has clearly said that the Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in Pakistan, and if India does not want to come, they should not come. Cricket will not end due to their absence, and there are other teams besides India.
On the other hand, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is refusing to send their team for the Champions Trophy. Officials have stated that the government is not allowing them to tour Pakistan, hence the tournament should be held in a hybrid model or at a neutral venue.
