In the first match of the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup, South Africa has set a target of 195 runs for the USA to win.

In the ICC Men T20 World Cup Super 8 stage match held at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, USA captain Aaron Jones won the toss and invited South Africa's captain Aiden Markram to bat first.

For South Africa, Quinton de Kock and Reeza Hendricks opened the innings, but their partnership didn't last long. Reeza Hendricks returned to the pavilion after scoring 11 runs with the team total at 16 runs.

South Africa's second wicket fell at a total score of 126 when opener Quinton de Kock was caught out after playing a notable innings of 74 runs. On the very next ball, David Miller got out without scoring any run, handing a catch to the bowler.

South Africa's fourth wicket fell at a total score of 141 when captain Aiden Markram was caught out after scoring 46 runs. Heinrich Klaasen remained unbeaten with 36 runs, and Tristan Stubbs remained unbeaten with 20 runs.

For the USA, Netravalkar and Harmeet Singh each took 2 wickets.
